Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC

Rockstar's cowboy adventure out November 5, but the Steam version won't arrive until December. Today, Rockstar finally confirmed the news PC cowboys have been waiting for: Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on PC. Few details were revealed in the announcement, but the studio did commit to a release date of November 5, with special bonuses available to players who pre-purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting October 9th. We've long suspected that Rockstar would bring RDR2 to PC, the same way it eventually sent GTA 5 our way after a period of console exclusivity. There have been a few tells since 2018, too, with minor leaks all pointing to an eventual announcement. The PC version will, according to Rockstar, feature visual and technical improvements, as well as a bunch of new bounties, gang hideouts and weapons. I'm also excited at the prospect of mods. Rockstar hasn't officially supported GTA modding, but that hasn't stopped anyone from sticking Iron Man into the game, creating GTA Online roleplaying mods, and tinkering with the graphics. In addition to the Rockstar Games Launcher, RDR2 will also be available on Epic Games Store, Green Man Gaming and the Humble Store, with pre-orders for those versions available October 23. Here's the surprising thing: the Steam version won't be available until December. Rockstar says more details about Red Dead Redemption 2 PC will come next week. Credit: Andy Chalk

  5. The latest hard detail about Apex Legends Season 3 is a big one: Apex Legends is getting a completely new map next week. A new cinematic trailer, seen above, doesn't reveal every corner of the new environment, but it shows off several major landmarks and biomes, including lava and plenty of snow for players to sled. "I approve of this new planet," Caustic can be heard saying in the trailer, indicating that World's Edge takes place on a new rock entirely. I wouldn't interpret every frame of the cinematic trailer as a 1:1 reference of the map we'll play next week, but the differences between this and Kings Canyon are major. For the first time Apex will feature ice and snow, and a train that pierces that cold. Naturally the train is loaded with loot, which will probably make it an attractive, contested position along the lines of Kings Canyon's current dropships. Standing out in the trailer is a massive piece of industrial equipment snapped by bright blue ice, along with two clearly visible urban areas with more than six tall buildings in each zone. The geothermal terrain looks straight out of a cartoon: glowing red and wrapped in curved rock spikes. At first it seemed like Apex was following the path laid by Epic in Fortnite: aggressively altering a single map hand-in-hand with promotional events that added giant creatures, stunt parks, and new structures to loot. Clearly Respawn is going in a different direction. Season 3 arrives on October 1. We still don't have details about how the structure of the Battle Pass may change after Respawn's poorly-received mid-season event.

  7. On 5.21.18, K33N Staff removed the "Player Report" plugin. Previously, this was the Player Report oxide plugin that gave players a visual GUI upon death in our Rust Server. This has been removed due to false reports. To fix the issue, we have removed the plugin after the recent implementation of our new File a Complaint / Report a Player site form. Any complaints / reports can be done so there. Thanks! View the K33N Rust landing page for more information.
